We tap into a homeowner’s hopes and desires and bring them to life. We listen. We ask questions. And together, we create something beautiful. Our experience has taught us to work closely with the builder to translate those dreams in the initial concept stage and balance them with the realities of time and budget throughout the entire process. This ensures that everyone stays on the same page and is speaking the same language. Because we all want the same thing in the end—a spectacular result.
Meet the professionals behind the projects and see how we creatively transform space to address both form and function—from concept through completion.
FOUNDER & CEO
Jean earned her interior design degree from Colorado State University, accredited through the Council of Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and lauded as one of the best design programs in the United States. Before launching Perspectives in 1986, she worked at Kravet Fabrics in the Denver Design Center, managed the Decorators Walk showroom in the Blake Street Design District, and was an interior designer in new-home sales for Mission Viejo. She shares her love of children as an active Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children in Denver County. When she’s not making the world a more beautiful place, she’s skiing moguls and racing sailboats.
LEAD INTERIOR DESIGNER
Shanna received her degree in interior design from Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, a CIDA-accredited program. She’s an affiliate of ASID and has participated in the 1+ program, in which designers dedicated 1% or more of their working hours to provide pro bono design services for nonprofit organizations. Previously, she worked at a commercial architecture and design firm in the Highlands and as a senior studio designer for CorePower Yoga. The South Dakota native says space planning was her love from the time she was a small child—and she’s been rearranging anything she could get her hands on ever since.
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Emily holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. With roots in the wilds of West Virginia and the vibrant bustle of New York City, her keen understanding of spaces was influenced by these two contrasting worlds. Emily doesn’t just design; she forges connections. Her warm and engaging personality ensures all clients’ voices and visions are not only heard but brought to life, enriched by her innate talent for visual harmony. Outside the office, this adventure seeker and her husband are either riding rapids or crisscrossing the nation with their furry companion for quality time with loved ones.
DESIGN ASSISTANT & ADMINISTRATION
Rhiannon earned her bachelor’s degree, majoring in architecture and planning, from the University of Colorado. This smart cookie and fourth-generation Colorado native has been with Perspectives for six years, serving as an intern for two years before joining the firm full time. She says she wakes up every morning inspired and optimistic about even her biggest challenges—and loves the sound of a really loud audience at the end of a performance. Her team gives her a standing ovation, not only for attitude but for the quality of her work.
